Al Ula العلا

I finally made it to Al Ula. I’ve been delaying this trip for three years now due to work. But this year I decided to do the things I've been delaying over the past years and thus I started with AlUla! 

I went for 2 nights on a camping trip with PANGAEA.

And the trip schedule was as follows:

Day 1 (Thursday Jan 27th, 2022)

I arrived 10:30 a.m. and was picked up at Al Ula airport (Prince Abdul Majeed Bin Abdulaziz-Mogayla Airport, ULA) by Pangaea tour guide. We made a stop at pink camel cafe then proceeded to the farm were we are staying (camp site).

After meeting the other participants we had dinner then went to visit the elephant rock which was magnificent! we had hot chocolate and coffee from Key Cafe located near the rock and sat at the beautiful seating areas that were in big holes in the ground.

Day 2 (Friday Jan 28th, 2022)

On the next day we went to Wadi Naam (وادي نعام) for a hike then at sunset we went to the arch rock (صخرة القوس).

After having dinner we went for a star gazing experience hosted by alula_stargzing and presented by Mr. Majed Alzhofi.

Day 3 (Saturday, Jan 29th, 2022)

On the last day of the trip, we went to Maraya concert hall which is the largest building covered in mirrors. Then we went to Sanam Camp for camel riding and finally, we stopped by Al Ula’s old town village.
