Our trip to Egypt was very short we only visited Cairo.

Hotel: Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence
This was my first time staying in a four season hotel, and it was such an excellent hotel with the most spacious, clean, elegant rooms and the friendliest staff.

Since we were staying in Cairo for a short time, we booked a full day 8 hours tour with TripAdvisor. A private driver and a tour guide took us on a trip around the highlights of Cairo.
Pyramids of Giza أهرامات الجيزة
Absolutely magnificent! The pyramids of Giza are not the only pyramids in Cairo or Egypt, but they are the most famous. There are 3 pyramids; Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure which has three subsidiary or queen's pyramids.
In the tour, we were given 2 options whether to do the camel ride or the horse cart. We chose the ride on the horse cart it was a lot of fun with the fantastic views of the pyramids.
After our tour around the pyramids, we headed (a few steps away) to the Sphinx.
The Grand Egyptian Museum المتحف المصري الكبير
One of the greatest museums I have ever visited. It has a vast collection of statues from ancient Egypt, mummies, the great Tutankhamun’s tomb and jewelry collection and much more! (taking photos inside the mummy museum or Tutankhamun’s jewelry section is not allowed).

An introduction to papyrus صناعة ورق البردي
We loved this short visit to the shop where they make and sell artwork made of papyrus, a type of paper that was used in ancient Egypt.
Busy and colorful open-air bazaar.
The longest river in the world. You can take a boat at day or night time and enjoy the views along the river.
